This presentation will be in Hungarian!
At the 2025 European Rocketry Challenge in Portugal, BME Suborbitals became the first Hungarian team to compete with a rocket powered by a self-developed solid motor.
That rocket was Aurora powered by evosoft, our most complex project yet, featuring distributed avionics, a new internal frame structure, and an actively controlled airbrake system. Designed to carry a 3U CubeSat and a CanSat payload to an altitude of 3,000 meters, Aurora represents years of student-driven innovation and hard work. Since last year’s competition, the team has embarked on developing an even more advanced rocket within the framework of Project Eclipse while also designing Hungary's first liquid rocket engine. In this talk, you can gain closer insight into our road to EuRoC 2025 and the latest developments for 2026.
